Ok you caught us, Vrata has moved. We were trying to be sneaky about it and well now everyone knows... hahah. So if you've driven down Broad street lately you'll notice the big red Vrata sign is no longer up. It's sad to see it go, however we decided in the best interest of everyone we wanted to get back to the cozy and intimate feeling we had with our first salon. The big bold vastness of our old space was wonderful, but when we were presented with the option of moving above the Artful Dodger we had to jump at the chance. We love live music, we love great food and we love good people, this place has everything that we want to share with all our friends and clients. We're really excited to be moved over and I hope you're happy about our move as well. So Remember Vrata hasn't closed, we just moved to an awesome new space and we'll hope you join us.
Oh Yeah By the Way we're at 1651 11th Avenue, Above the Artful dodger, really only about 1/2 a block from the old salon.
Here's a map:
The giddy build-up and anticipation as the day draws nearer. Boys fashioned in classic black & white penguin suits. Girls adorned in a myriad of vibrant colours from funky fuchsia to glittering gold. Ah, yes; tis’ the season for Prom.
You know what? I really love Valentine’s Day. Love is in the air, lovers are thinking sexy thoughts and it gives us an excuse to spend some quality time with our special someone after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Sometimes it’s hard to come up with that special touch, something that is unique and totally you, that gift that cannot be forgotten. Imagine the thoughts you’ll stir up this Valentine’s Day when you discreetly hand your partner the perfect black leather photo album featuring gorgeous photos of yourself taken specially for him. Photos he can take with him on long trips, keep close to his heart and even have while he’s away on those long stretches at work.
On Feb 23rd we're teaming up with the Glide Runway Event held here in Regina in order to raise money and awareness for our oceans.
The world's sharks are undergonig an unbelievable struggle as fishermen the world round are poaching them strictly for their fins. Every year hundreds of thousands of sharks are killed, being left to bleed out on the ocean floor after having their fins removed. In this Video CHef Gordon Ramsay speaks out agains this atrocity in this newly published video:
